The technology of production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas, introduced at the plant in Akhal region, received the international award TIGAS "2019 IChemE" in the category "Oil and gas".
The prestigious award "2019 IchemE" was awarded to representatives of the company "Haldor Topsoe" at a ceremony held in hull (UK).
According to Kim Knudsen, Executive Vice President of the company's division, this award is the culmination of many years of experimental work. As a result, the world's first natural gas gasoline production plant was commissioned in Turkmenistan.
"Haldor Topsoe" is engaged in the development of technology for the production of gasoline from natural gas. On an industrial scale, TIGAS technology was first introduced in Turkmenistan.
This technology bypassed the development of companies "ExxonMobil Chemicals", "Flour", "PETRONAS Penapisan" and "Saudi Aramco".
International prize "IChemE" for 25 years is awarded to advanced developments in the field of chemical engineering. The award presented by The Institute of chemical engineering (IchemE) is considered one of the most prestigious in the world.
