President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met the President of “Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.” on the energy system and factory development of Tatsuya Watanabe.

During the meeting, the businessman noted the great interest of the Japanese business community in building cooperation with Turkmenistan.

In his turn, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the productive nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the largest Japanese companies, and emphasized that today these traditional business contacts reached new level, successfully developing in a wide range of areas.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects of partnership, taking into account the large-scale transformation programs implemented in Turkmenistan, aimed at the modernization and diversification of the national economy, the creation of a multi-industrial complex, the introduction of advanced technologies in all spheres and sectors, the expansion of the range of import-substituting and export-oriented products.

The head of the Japanese Corporation informed the head of Turkmenistan about the progress of construction of a plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in Akhal velayat. It was stressed that this project, carried out with the participation of the Turkish company "Rönesans Holding", is the first in the world practice. Due to the deep cleaning of raw materials, the products manufactured by the plant will meet the highest international standards for quality and environmental requirements.

At the end of the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan and his guest expressed confidence in the further promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
