The first trial batch of new products – transparent single-layer film with a thickness of 20 and 25 microns was produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

More than 90 tons of new products have already been produced at the bios-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film production plant, which was installed by the Indonesian company "P.T. Istana karang Laut".

After completion of commissioning works at the installation, the factory workers plan to produce films of several types and for various purposes, including those used for packaging food products and industrial products, from the first of July.

Bios-oriented film superior in strength to polypropylene, also can be applied in the textile industry and for the packaging of disposable medical materials.

The capacity of the production line, designed for the production of 21 thousand tons per year, will make it possible to expand the range of products made of polypropylene produced at the TCOR.
