A wide range of issues of development of the Turkmen-Japanese trade and economic partnership, built on the principles of long-term and mutual benefit, was discussed on the eve of the meeting of the delegation of Turkmenistan with representatives of the largest corporations and companies of Japan. This is reported by the State news agency of Turkmenistan.

Japanese businessmen have confirmed their commitment to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan, stating its readiness to participate actively in the implementation large-scale projects in various spheres of activity.

As a result of the business forum, a number of bilateral documents were signed concerning the implementation of new joint projects, including the construction of plants for the production of ammonia and urea, natural gas processing and gasoline production, a plant for the production of phosphate fertilizers, as well as cooperation with the Japanese Bank for international cooperation (JBIC), the supply of Komatsu earthmoving machinery and Toyota vehicles to Turkmenistan.
