Members of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz intergovernmental Commission (IGC) agreed to support the establishment of joint ventures that will produce products oriented to the EU, EEU and China markets. This was announced at a meeting of the intergovernmental Commission on July 30 in the building of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).

– Today we have all the opportunities to implement joint projects with access to quite capacious consumer markets, in particular-the EAEU, where we can sell products produced jointly, without any duties, – said Oleg Pankratov, Minister of economy of Kyrgyzstan and Chairman of the IPC from the Kyrgyz side.

Chairman of the sppt and the intergovernmental Commission from the Turkmen side Alexander Dadaev informed the members of the Commission about the promising areas of cooperation between Turkmen and Kyrgyz businessmen. Dadaev, in particular, noted that the Turkmen entrepreneurs have good experience in the agricultural sector, the creation of processing enterprises and are ready to consider the possibility of joint production and processing of minerals in Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting of the intergovernmental Commission, a Protocol was signed, which clearly States that the businessmen of the two countries will promote the establishment of joint ventures.
