New transmission line Rabatkashan -Qalinau minimum payments will provide access to uninterrupted supply of Turkmen electricity to 7 thousand families living in Qalinau, the administrative center of the province.
Soon, another 10 thousand households in the counties of Kadesh, Mukur, Abkamri will be connected to distribution networks, reaching from the line of Rabatkashan-Qalinau.
In addition to the expansion of energy supply, the direct economic and social benefit of this power transmission line is that, through its imported electricity, energy tariffs in the province of Badghis, previously supplied with generators, will be reduced from 40 to 6 Afghani per kilowatt.
Without exaggeration, for the least developed Badghis, the majority of whose population was experiencing energy shortages, the megawatts of Turkmen electricity give hope for future prosperity.
